Just wanted to say thanks to all that showed up on wreck with Sta. 74 the other day. If you all had not came we would have been in trouble. As a former member of the department I have to say, you all are a great group of guys and gals to work with. Just remember if you all need us just call. Until next time, Be safe and God bless and thanks again.

WHILE MANY OF THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS IN THE COUNTY ARE STRUGGLING FOR MEMBERS, BRENDLETOWN VFD IS AT NEAR CAPACITY. WITH ALMOST 40 MEMBERS, OF WHICH SEVERAL ARE FIRST RESPONDERS AND PARAMEDICS, THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY SHOULD REST WELL IN THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE ONE OF THE BEST TRAINED AND BEST EQUIPPED DEPARTMENTS IN THE AREA. SUPPORTING OUR DEPARTMENT IS A VERY ACTIVE LADIES AUXILIARY AND A JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS PROGRAM WITH 8 MEMBERS.
THANK ALL OF YOU WHO GIVE OF YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND TALENTS TO PROTECT BRENDLETOWN.
- GLENN MCCURRY
