WHILE MANY OF THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS IN THE COUNTY ARE STRUGGLING FOR MEMBERS, BRENDLETOWN VFD IS AT NEAR CAPACITY. WITH ALMOST 40 MEMBERS, OF WHICH SEVERAL ARE FIRST RESPONDERS AND PARAMEDICS, THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY SHOULD REST WELL IN THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE ONE OF THE BEST TRAINED AND BEST EQUIPPED DEPARTMENTS IN THE AREA. SUPPORTING OUR DEPARTMENT IS A VERY ACTIVE LADIES AUXILIARY AND A JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS PROGRAM WITH 8 MEMBERS.
THANK ALL OF YOU WHO GIVE OF YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND TALENTS TO PROTECT BRENDLETOWN.
